Hinche Scholars Project Mentioned During Times-Dispatch Public Square

On Tuesday evening, March 29, Hinche Scholars project coordinator Danny C. Yates had the chance to discuss our project during a Richmond Times-Dispatch forum which was aimed at citizens sharing their “Richmond story.”

Speaking about the overwhelming generosity of Richmonders in helping displaced Haitian college students through this effort, Danny said that “while Virginia may be for lovers, her heart is here in Richmond.”
