Hinche Scholars Project Showcased in Conjunction With Anderson Cooper

On Saturday evening, February 19, Hinche Scholars project coordinator Danny Yates and fellow William and Mary student Lisa Sthreshley had the honor of meeting award-winning CNN anchor Anderson Cooper.

Mr. Cooper, whose news coverage of the January 12, 2010 Haiti earthquake  capitivated the world and illustrated the catastrophic situation in post-quake Port-au-Prince, was in Richmond, VA to address a sold-out audienceof 3,600 at the Landmark Theather. Thanks to the Richmond Forum (and executive director Bill Chapman), the Hinche Scholars program received special recognition in the event program (see post below).
