Barber-Scotia Professors Leave Sunday for Hinche!

October 19, 2010

The I Have a Dream Foundation’s Hinche Scholars Program is proud to announce that beginning Monday, October 25, 2010, several displaced Haitian university students will be at long last reaping the benefit of your donations and support.

On this day, two professors from Barber-Scotia College will begin teaching a four week, 12-credit mini-semester “on location” in Hinche. Our goal with this effort is to continue with our mission of providing an American-style higher education to displaced Haitian university students even though we are still waiting on the visa process. Please know that even though the Hinche Scholars are not yet in Concord, NC at Barber-Scotia, they nonetheless soon be receiving the great benefit of your generous support. Please help continue to support our endeavor. Donating is simple – just click the link at right for an instant, online paypal contribution, or send us a check in the mail (address at right). Thank you again!

Also, we would like to thank everyone who helped to make such a sucessful visit this weekend by Father Bourdeau of Hinche, Haiti.
